Next step crochet: make a two-sided hot pad
Try this colourful, surface crochet technique to make a useful, beautiful kitchen hot pad or trivet in a lovely 100% cotton DK yarn. Easily modifiable, this pattern is simple yet very effective when combining different colours.
In session 1 you will learn to make the base and use a magic ring to start work in the round. Session 2 will show you how to attach both bases together with surface work and also tips on weaving ends in.
This workshop, led by Natalia Prats, is suitable for anyone who can work the basics of crochet, the rest will be taught in class. We will use magic ring, chain stitch, double and treble stitches. All materials in a choice of colours to make one hot pad are included. You are welcome to bring your own 4.0 mm hook if you like.
Please note, this is 2 session workshop!
